Did you know that the City of Alpharetta is the sixth fastest growing city in the nation according to the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Census Bureau? Between 2011 and 2012, the City’s population grew at an astounding 4.5% to approximately 62,000!
Also, Alpharetta is often referred to as the Technology Capital of the South because so many technology companies have moved their headquarters to Alpharetta. So, in order for Alpharetta to continue to grow, attract and retain businesses, the City needs an organization to bridge the gap between local civic leaders, business leaders, and job creators.
There are other organizations here in Atlanta that focus on the region. But, Alpharetta is a growing city that needs an organization which advocates on behalf of the City whose goal is the continued growth and retention of businesses within the City. In short, Alpharetta deserves its own Chamber of Commerce.
